SINGLES ministry This is a vivacious group lead by an equally vivacious Bible study leader, Sue Moore.
A note from Sue: "I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal savior as a student in Casper, Wyoming. I continued to worship the Lord and participate in church activities.
I relocated to Southern California in 1963. I lived in various cities, went to several churches, always working within and being a part of the fellowship.
I worked as administrative sectary to a wholesale grocery company and in 1986 my company asked me to relocate to Northern California.
Upon moving to Lodi, I checked the phone book and visited two Baptist Churches, then I saw an add in the local paper for a bible study for singles at a local cafe. I visited there and met Curt and Vi Estel. Vi invited me to visit Lodi Avenue Baptist Church. I joined the church that Sunday knowing that was where the Lord wanted me to be. I have continued my commitment to the Lord, and when I retired from work I was invited to go on a Missionary trip to Uruguay with International Commission. The past 12 years I have had the opportunity to visit many countries and share the good news of the gospel.
I have taught the singles class for a number of years, and enjoy sharing with them. Most of my other activities are outside the church with evangelism. I do continue toseek the Lord's direction and I am willing to make any changes the Lord directs."
