NEW MEMBERS class

If you have just gone forward in one of our church services requesting membership of our body of believers at LABC, you are very fortunate to have our own Ionie Lugg to lead you through the Baptist Faith and Message and orient you to our church. If in addition to becoming a new member you are also a new believer you will also go through a discipling course with Ms. Ionie to find out what a Christian is all about.

My Personal Testimony
My name is Ionie Lugg . I live in Lodi California and work as a Registered Nurse. It is a privilege and with great joy that I am here to share with you what Jesus has and is doing in my life.
I was brought up in the church as a child and at the age of fifteen I accepted Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. For the first time the plan of salvation was made clear to me and I realized that I was a sinner and needed God's forgiveness as stated in Rom. 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God" .

I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and to take control of my life. Rom.6:23 "The wages of sin is death but the Gift of God is eternal Life in Christ Jesus our Lord". John 14:6 "No one comes to the Father except through me'. My name is now written in the Lambs Book of Life.

My life has drastically changed from that day. No longer am I self¬center and selfish, the love of God is in my heart. There is joy, peace and happiness in me. Jesus is my father, a friend that I can trust and totally rely upon. He does not judge me, I feel His presence at all times .

Studying God's word has brought me closer to Him. As I take this journey, God spoke to me through Is. 6:5-9 and I committed to go wherever he sent me. He has led many places, far and near and I have witnessed the mighty hand of God at work. There has been healing, rededication of lives, and many accepted Christ as their savior. It humbles me to speak of the Love of God. Through daily prayer, reading the Bible and Christian fellowship I continue on with the race that is set before me and look forward to that day when I am united with Jesus in Heaven.
